Our Never Any Extras Guarantee means the price listed in your shower remodel contract is exactly what you’ll pay. We won’t surprise you with a change order and price increase during your shower remodel. Repairs are included with the guarantee, with a few specific exemptions.

There are companies that are notorious for issuing change orders and adding extra charges to fix problems behind your shower walls. It’s where many contractors get their money. What Does the Never Any Extras Guarantee Cover?

Covered repairs include:

• Mold removal within the tub and shower area
• Hidden electrical that needs to be moved

We don’t know the extent of the damage behind your walls before demoing. However, after installing over 5,500 new tubs and showers, we know what to expect and are prepared. Not to mention that these repairs are necessary before installing a new shower system.

There have been cases where large portions of the framing or subfloor had to be rebuilt before installation could continue. Thankfully, those repairs are included in the remodeling process.

Shugarman’s Bath is certified by the Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) to handle mold. Our installers can safely remove mold found during demolition. That means you won’t be spending thousands more to hire a separate mold remediation company before your remodel can continue.

What Does the Guarantee NOT Cover In Your Shower Remodel?

The guarantee applies only to the structure and plumbing within the tub and shower area. Some issues that fall outside the scope of a shower remodel must be handled separately.

We don’t include:

• Pest extermination (termites, rodents, etc.)
• Repairs to damaged cast iron plumbing that cannot connect to the new drain system
• Plumbing problems located outside the tub and shower area
• Clogged drains further down the plumbing system
• Work outside the shower area, such as flooring, vanities, toilets, or walls

If these issues do happen, you will need to hire someone to address them before your shower remodel can continue.

For example, if we find live termites, you’ll need to hire a pest control company to remove them before your shower remodel can continue.
