What Are the Shugarman’s Bath Shower Remodel Pricing Tiers?

Tub and shower remodels at Shugarman’s Bath fall into one of 3 price tiers:

• Refresh - This tier runs from $12,500 to $16,000 and covers 56% of all Shugarman’s Bath remodels. This is a clean, plain, low-maintenance remodel with a custom accessory or two. It typically has a basic sliding door or curtain rod.

• Elevate - This tier runs from $16,001 to $22,000 and covers 36% of all Shugarman’s Bath remodels. You’ll see more style in your tub and shower area with patterned or colored walls, shower seating, a niche, and two showerheads for versatility.

• Indulge - This tier is for projects that cost $22,001+ and covers 8% of Shugarman’s Bath remodels. You’ll see this price range for larger tub-and-shower spaces. This is designed to be luxurious and built to impress.

What Can You Expect from a Refresh Tier Shower Remodel?

Contract 1 — November 2025 | $12,663

This remodel includes a soaker tub with a scalloped soap dish wall and a matte black finish throughout the fixtures. It comes with a niche for storage and a complimentary shower rod.

Before starting this remodel, a different contractor had already demoed the bathroom down to the studs, removed the soffit, and left some damage to the ceiling. That's why the space looks different in the before photo than a typical Shugarman's Bath project at this stage. Our team worked with what was already torn out and finished the job from there.

If you’re wondering why it looks like there’s damage in the after photos, it’s because the ceiling and floor repair weren't part of this contract. Shugarman's Bath rebuilt and finished the tub and shower area itself and didn’t take on work outside that space.

What Can You Expect from an Elevate Tier Shower Remodel?

Contract 2 — January 2026 | $19,984

This remodel features a spray foam shower base with subway tile walls in a black-and-white color scheme, all finished in matte black hardware. It includes a fold-down seat, corner shelving, grab bars, and a sliding glass shower door.

What Can You Expect from an Indulge Tier Shower Remodel?

Contract 3 — February 2026 | $25,306

This master bath remodel features a solid surface shower base with Roman block walls in two finishes, brushed nickel fixtures throughout, and a custom bench. It also includes a rain shower head, a frameless pivot door, and a custom solid surface ledge.

• New Age solid surface shower base, 58" x 48", double threshold, white
• Large wall 35"-60" wide, Roman block, Galena premium color, installed on the soap dish wall (x1)

What Does an Indulge Tier Remodel Look Like at the Higher End?

The further you go above the Indulge minimum, the more the price reflects a larger tub and shower area footprint, more accessories, and custom elements like frameless glass and solid surface ledges that aren't part of a standard remodel. We want to show off this master bath remodel and what it looks like.

Contract 4 — March 2026 | $32,319

This master bath remodel uses a Cali combo layout, where a walk-in shower and a separate soaking tub sit side by side in the same space, each with its own enclosure. It features a spray foam shower base and tub with subway tile walls and matte black fixtures throughout. The design includes a waterslide bar with a rain shower head, a pony wall, a custom ledge, and a frameless pivot shower door.
