Truth be told, the fun part about remodeling is that there’s no such thing as a ‘typical bathroom remodel’. Each project presents its unique challenges and design specifics. Most of our projects take 1.5 – 2 Days. More complex projects with tubs/showers larger than a 60 x 30-inches area take longer.

For example: The picture you see here is a recent remodel that we did where the shower and bathtub are separate from each other – also known as a “Cali Combo”. These projects can take 4 –5 days depending on several variables.

Our products are mainly composed of a material called BP-Cor2. This is a high-tech polymer made up of 15% acrylic and 85% ABS (the very strong stuff they make football helmets out of). It’s an advancement over the traditional old-world tile and new-world acrylic.

We can even make our product look like tile by laser etching grout lines in the material. This way you can still have tile, but you don’t have the cleaning and maintenance hassles. This is why we like to refer to our product as ‘New World Tile’.

We have a California Class B General Contractors license as well as a C-36 Plumbing License. Additional protection for you includes a bond with the state of California, a Liability Insurance policy, and Workers’ Compensation.

No. Our system is tight and efficient and when we deviate from that, things don’t run as smoothly.

To live up to our value of quality, we need to be able to offer a Lifetime Warranty on both labor and products. We can’t do that with products someone else purchases. That said, we have a massive selection of products and can almost always provide something you’ll love.

With a long-standing and effective system, skilled expert installers, and proper training. Our installers, which are employees of Shugarman’s Bath, are trained in all the trades needed to complete a project.

They can handle the demo, plumbing, waterproofing, panel cutting, finish work, and most glass. This means you don’t need 5 different trades coming into the job. Our products are also installed much more efficiently than traditional tile. We don’t use “Old World Tile” or conventional tile. We have a newly manufactured product that’s non-porous and antimicrobial. It has laser-etched grout lines that give you the look of tile without having all the extra labor and costs involved. No more scrubbing, bleaching, or sealing grout lines every 6 months.

We’re “Wet Area” specialists. That means we tackle just the tub and or shower area and everything directly involved with them.

For other aspects of bathroom remodeling outside the wet area, we do have multiple other contractors that we work with regularly. If we feel they would be the best fit to help, we’ll offer you their contact information at no additional charge. It can save you 10 – 20% on a larger project!
