Chreen continues to shine in, let’s face it, a male-dominated industry and is helping to change the narrative for women in the trade. We love that! At Shugarman’s, we prioritize passion and skill over anything else (and that includes gender).
While the trades in America are experiencing a talent shortage, Chreen breaks that mold. She got started in home construction at a young age. It’s one thing she knows like the lines of her calloused palms. In fact, Chreen was the first employee in our company to master the quality one-day bath remodel.

Chreen’s talented. She’s got a great attitude that’s infectious. And being so friendly with homeowners, she’s like a duck in water in this industry - it comes naturally (a rarity)!
What Does Career Growth Look Like at Shugarman’s Bath?
From a new hire that helped out here and there with things as we needed them to our lead installer, Chreen now trains all of our installers. She even developed a training program that gets installers up to speed on our comprehensive down-to-the-studs approach to tub and shower area remodeling.
- Chreen really enjoys teaching and mentoring.
- Two of her calling cards are taking pride in her work and making customers smile.
- She’s naturally goal-oriented (loves smashing records) and regularly sets new ones for herself just to continue pushing herself and developing her skills.
Like, for example, it’s not uncommon for Chreen and her assistant to compete and see if they could get five gorgeous, detailed remodels done in one week. And yep, they can do it!
